I see and hear the stories that cross international borders from time to time and really wonder about the state of people's curiousity. The last local U.S. headline to get translated into German and broadcast here was a woman who text-messaged a state trooper to buy weed. The most recent German counterpart was a police raid on an apartment that smelled like a dead body. Turned out to be a guy with smelly feet and a rotten pile of laundry.

Anybody know who Helmut Kohl was?
