Is this a new pandemic?
I'm getting reports from everywhere that people are getting sick - including North America. What is going on here people? This is July, in spite of my last week's temperatures in the 60's. Last time I rode the train over here it looked like half the occupants were coughing or sneezing. Of course, my mother's catching the same thing, coworkers I haven't had any physical contact with for over 6 weeks, friends in the U.S.??? I finally made it back to the "functional but feel like crap" stage. Now I just have a puddle of fluid at the bottom of my lungs. I'm tempted to blame contaminated Chinese pet food or maybe contaminated Chinese fish or maybe contaminated Chinese cough syrup or maybe contaminated Chinese pork or their egg yolks. It was marginally reassuring that they executed their previous government minister responsible for such things. I can't help but wonder if doing the same thing to business people in the U.S. who bought the crap would further help. Or maybe we should execute the guy authorized to negotiate free trade with China.
