Today was winter tire day. Second time in my life I've experienced such a thing and I still feel pity for my fellow countrymen who live in the north. Winter tire day officially means you install your snow tires because it might snow. They were in fact correct exactly two times last year. What winter tire day in realty means is that you pull of you nice 17" aluminum rims and 50 series tires and replace them with shiny silver hubcaps on 15" steel rims with skinny 35 series snow tires. Doing it yourself gives you that "Chevette look" in about 35 minutes.
