Inevitably
I was thinking about taxes today. Why, I have no idea but one of the really great things about this foreign assignment is that they are figuring and paying my taxes for the next two years so I don't have to deal with the mess of foreign income tax. Then it occurred to me that maybe I didn't pay my 2006 taxes. My memory was a little hazy because it would have been very early in my move over here. For the first three months I don't remember much although the girl asking for directions while my car was stalled at the bottom of a highway exit does stand out. After an uncomfortable hour or so, I was able to find the electronic copy of my filed 2006 taxes.
